ACHIEVEMENTS.
Shelley Eva Haden won her first choreographic award (1st place. cash prize) during 2010 as part of ‘Creates’; The Choreographic Platform for Hereford and Worcestershire.
in 2014 Shelley graduated from The Northern School of Dance having become the first-ever student to achieve 100% on he solo choreography assessment – her ‘Silver Shelter’ is now part of the school’s repertoire f or students to study and perform.

Shelley’s choreographic commissions span from commercial to live contemporary work. Credits include Alan Howard, FUDGE (Live shows), Curate Films, ACE Dance and Music (Youth Company), RDC Youth, CAT (Centre for Advanced Training).

Platform Tales [2020]
Choreographic lead on Platform Tales written; A choreographic exchange with Kenya and South Africa produced by Judy Owen ltd, written by Tyrone Huggins.
AMPLIFY [2019]
Commissioned by ACE Dance and Music to create a full length work on their Performance Youth Company. Premiered December 2019, ACE Space.
ZERO CENTRE [2018]
Commissioned by DanceFest to create a full length work on their Performance Youth Company 'DFY' DFY has performed the work at various platforms (2018-present)
FORMATION [2017]
Curtain raiser commissioned by Rosie Kay Dance Company, working upon 'The Hard To Reach Outreach Scheme' for 5 Soldiers. Formation was created on the students of Rockwood Academy and was premiered on Friday 13th of November 2017, Army Reserve Centre, Golden Hillock Road, Birmingham.
BUSY [2017]
Commissioned by Nunnery Wood to create piece for Voices and Visions; The annual platform for Worcestershire and Herefordshire. Premiering at the beautiful venue of Worcester Cathedral on Wednesday 28th June 2017.
Mini DPK [2017]
Commissioned by Rosie Kay Dance Company to create a curtain raiser on the students of Musselburgh Grammar School for the Double Bill performance at The Brunton Theatre, Scotland.
ME, MYSELF AND CATWOMEN [2016]
Funded by Arts Council England and ACE Midlands, a commission to create a piece on Rutherford Dance Company. This commission ran as part of the ENHANCE program meaning I was shortlisted from over 300 other applicants, then selected by the members of the company.
SILVER SHELTER [2014]
A solo created during my final year at The Northern School Of Contemporary Dance. This solo was the first in the history of the NSDC to have been marked with 100% outstanding certificate. This solo is now part of the schools repertoire for current students to study and perform.
21 Grange Avenue [2013]
- A Private Performance in which a small audience travelled around the house of 21 Grange Avenue exploring the secrets behind each wall as each performer performed their own detailed solo with personal touches of sound, physical theatre and decor to portray their personal space.
Vogue [2013]
Choreographed dancers and models as part of the Alan Howard Road Show, Performed at Manchester 235 Casino.
The Unknown [2012]
A choreography exploring the fear of ‘The Unknown’ performed at The Riley Theatre Leeds as part of The Northern School Of Contemporary Dance Student Platform.
SUNday [2011]
Choreographed a piece on Fusion dance Company, performed at The Swan Theatre as part of DanceFest’s (Herefordshire and Worcestershire’s Dance organisation) annual show.
BLINK [2010]
BLINK was awarded first place at ‘Creates’ (The choreographic platform for Herefordshire and Worcestershire) as well as gaining a cash prize and the opportunity to choreograph and work with a company of our choice.
